Target Packets

Target Packets are a fast and cost-effective way to streamline your course materials. Create your own textbook, customized to your teaching style and needs – at no cost to you or your department! You can create a reader of copyrighted articles (and book chapters) in the order in which you’ll discuss them in class, compose a packet of your PowerPoint slides so that students can take their notes right on yours, and even include a CD so that they can view your presentations at home.

We work directly with you to make Target Packets easy. Just bring us your original or copyrighted materials (or call our Campus Rep for free pick-up) along with complete bibliographic information for all copyrighted pieces. Then, you’ll have a few finishing decisions to make (1 or 2-sided, binding, covers, etc.), and we’ll finish the rest! Once cleared of copyright permissions, if needed, your course’s Target Packet will be available for sale to your students at our 635 W. Tennessee Street location. We’re open 24 hours a day, so there’s no more excuses for coming to class unprepared.

Your students will be happy that they can get all of their course materials from one place, and you’ll receive complimentary copies of your packet along with coupons for free personalized notepads and free black and white copies in our store!

Free Syllabus Program

Target Copy wishes to announce some significant changes to our “Free Syllabus Program” which has been in effect for the past three years. Previously the program had been open to all professors at FSU, FAMU and TCC, with no requirement that they produce a course packet with us. Beginning with the Fall 2009 semester, we are limiting the “Free Syllabus Program” to professors who produce packets with Target Copy. In addition to receiving a free set of syllabi for the course or courses for which a professor has a course packet, we are expanding this program to include free syllabi for any other courses taught by that professor in each respective term. We appreciate your understanding of these changes and, as always, appreciate your support of Target Copy.

Just e-mail your course syllabus (up to 10 pages) to service@targetcopy.com or bring it by the store. We’ll print as many copies as you need for your class and even bring them back to your office within 24-48 hours. (Due to volume, we cannot guarantee delivery of course syllabi during the first week of classes – please submit your syllabus 2-3 days before classes start for delivery. Of course, professors are always welcome in our store for pick-up, anytime 24 hours a day.)
